| I'm looking for some new books to read. I've never really read a whole lot for fun until about 2 years ago and I don't know a whole lot of good authors. Since the people who read this are people I feel like I have similar tastes in, I'm hoping some of y'all can help me out. This doesn't have to be limited to books like this, but some books that I have really enjoyed in the past few years are: A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Kite Runner, The Road, Q&A, Life of Pi, Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer, I think that may be it. So whadayall gots? |

| I strongly recommend going to see the movie "Up", even if you don't see it in 3-D(which is awesome). It was the best/saddest movie I have seen in a real long time. It is so good. Pixar has never made a bad movie in my eyes, and this just may be the best yet. |

| I saw this story last night on 60 Minutes and wanted to share. In short, Chevron is being sued by tribes in Ecuador for dumping waste on their land. It's pretty bad and I hope they (Chevron) lose. |
